Hey everyone, I just installed WordPress on my Xisto hosting account through the Softaculous in cPanel. Everything went smoothly, but now I’m stuck – I can’t set up the admin account. The installation asked for my email, but I never received any confirmation link. Is that normal? I double-checked my email and spam folder. How do I get past this? Any help would be awesome!

Hey TechNewbie, you don’t actually need an email confirmation to set up the admin account. WordPress creates your admin user during installation – you just need to log in directly using the credentials you chose. Go to yoursite.com and enter the username and password you set. If that doesn’t work, you might have a database issue. Check your cPanel’s phpMyAdmin and look in the wp_users table to see if a user exists. If not, you can manually insert one. Also, make sure you’re using the correct domain – if you’re using a subdomain from Xisto, it should be something like yourusername.xisto.com. Let me know if that helps!
