I just found the new Xisto game and jumped right in. I have a few questions for those who’ve played longer:
Why is the shop empty? Is it a bug or do items get added later?
How do you raise your level? I tried fighting but lost badly and ended up in the medical center with a 59-minute timer. That was pretty cool, but I want to progress faster.
Has anyone played this game on other sites? I’m curious if it’s a port or original.
I got wrecked in my first PvP battle and now I’m stuck in the medical center for almost an hour. Kinda harsh for newbies, but I like the realism. Any tips for a new player?
I love the look of this game! The medical center timer is a neat mechanic – it adds a consequence to losing that most browser games skip. Reminds me of old-school MUDs where you’d have to rest.
As for the shop, maybe it’s not fully implemented yet? Or perhaps you need to reach a certain level to unlock items. Have you tried talking to NPCs or exploring other areas?
Leveling probably comes from grinding mobs or completing quests. The timer after death is definitely a punishment mechanic to discourage careless fighting. It’s a clever way to pace progression.
Console games should borrow this! Imagine getting arrested in GTA and being told: “You are currently asleep in a prison on charges of grand theft auto. Please check back in 5 years, 4 weeks, 20 hours, 59 minutes and 46 seconds.” That would be hilarious and actually make you think twice before running over pedestrians.
Anyway, I’ll be sticking around to see how this game develops. Hope the shop stocks up soon!
