When Life Calls: The Tough Choice to Leave a Community

It’s been a while since I’ve been active here, and I wanted to share something personal. I’ve decided to step away from Xisto and focus on my family. It wasn’t an easy choice, but spending time with my wife and child has become my top priority. The late nights tweaking CSS and managing the forum have been rewarding, but I realize now that I was missing out on precious moments at home.

I’m not leaving because of the service - Xisto has been stellar. The community here is amazing, and I’ve learned so much from everyone. I’ve handed over my forum to my moderator, Jeff, who’ll be joining the forums soon to continue the project. All my credits go to him too - I hope he finds the same joy I did.

A big shout-out to members like Husker, Haslip, Bordafox, SM, Ad, and everyone else who made this place special. You’ve all been incredible. Even though I’m leaving, I might pop into the shoutbox from time to time. Who knows, maybe I’ll see you around!

Thanks for the sig, Truefusion - it’ll still get some use, I promise.

Best wishes to the whole Xisto community. Keep making this the best free hosting platform on the planet!

Hey coolduck, it’s been a real pleasure having you here. I completely understand your decision - family always comes first. It’s great that you have your priorities straight. Enjoy the time with your wife and child, and don’t be a stranger. Drop by the shoutbox whenever you need a break. Best of luck with everything!

It’s sad to see a long-time member go, but it’s wonderful that you’re making time for what truly matters. Family should always come first. I hope you find joy in the extra time with them. Best of luck in all your future endeavors, and feel free to come back and say hi whenever you can!
