Have you guys ever heard your parents’ love story or how they got together? I find it pretty funny and amusing whenever my mom tells me them (my dad has never). One of my favorites is from their early dating days. They went to this fancy restaurant and ordered steak without specifying how they wanted it cooked. So it came the “standard” way—and my mom can only eat well-cooked meat. She was horrified, saying blood was dripping off the thing! I can just picture her face. 
Anyone else got some good ones?
LOL, and all the graphic details, huh? My story didn’t come directly from either parent—I heard it from my brother. It involved my father (a drug addict recently released from jail) walking down the street, and my mother walking in the opposite direction. They cast glances… and it was love ever since? Yeah, right. They’re divorced now, of course. Some stories are better as cautionary tales.
Yeah, I’ve heard it! My mom told me she met my dad at university. They were studying the same subject, but my dad was slightly older. She started dating him when she was 19—and she always said my dad wore his best shirt for their dates. The shirt with pictures of ants! Oh, my dad actually told me he was super popular back then. I guess ants were the style in the 80s?
