Has everyone heard about the sequel coming at the launch of the Revolution? Yup, Super Smash Bros Revolution (not the official name). Why does Smash Bros, a huge hit that almost everyone loves, only come once per console? Who knows. I believe the new Smash Bros will have all the characters from before plus many new ones. I think Ganondorf will get his own moves instead of being a clone of Captain Falcon (that would be nice), and I think they’ll distinguish Marth from Roy more, as well as Falco from Fox, and Pichu from Pikachu… actually no, Pichu shouldn’t even be in this game, the worst clone ever. Nintendo said when they announced this game that it will make use of many of Revolution’s features. That must mean the controllers… certain items like the lightsaber rip-off might only be usable by swinging the controller. To do certain things, like minigames and other items, you might have to do unique things with the controller as well. As for new characters, here are some possibilities: Wolfen, Wario, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Daisy, that female chick from Star Fox (can’t think of her name right now), Skull Kid (probably not but that would be awesome lol), Mew (should give him and Mewtwo their shield-attacking abilities from the movie), Iko or whatever from Fire Emblem for the GameCube, Lyn, Hector, and Eliwood (should have kept Eliwood’s name Cuan). Some of those friends of Ness, Meta Knight from Kirby, and much more, even from other Nintendo games not in Smash Bros yet. They should have actual “new” outfits instead of just color coding the regular one with only a few colors. Maybe you can color code the outfits with your own choice of any colors? No information is leaking out, but I hope many of these will happen ^^
Topic Summary: Speculating on Super Smash Bros Brawl roster, moveset changes, and Wii features like online play.
Topic Overview (Wikipedia):
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a 2008 crossover fighting game developed by Sora Ltd. and published by Nintendo for the Wii. The third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the successor to Super Smash Bros. Melee, it was the first game in the series not to be developed primarily by HAL Laboratory. It was developed by a creative team under Sora that included members from several Nintendo and third-party development teams. It was announced at a pre-E3 2005 press conference by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Masahiro Sakurai, director of the previous two games in the series, assumed the role of director at Iwata’s request. Game development began in October 2005; after delays due to development problems, the game was released in Japan on January 31, 2008, North America on March 9, 2008, Australia on June 26, 2008, and Europe on June 27, 2008.

Do you mean SSBM 3? There’s already an SSBM3 thread, but I think this will be the best game ever. I HOPE one of the best!
There is a Super Smash Bros Revolution (working title) thread already. I just have to say: I can’t wait for this game, but I hope it stays true to its roots and doesn’t change too much. It’s not Super Smash Bros Melee 3. In fact, it’s not even Super Smash Bros Melee 2. It’s Super Smash Brothers Revolution.
I believe the chick you’re talking about is probably Katt? (The pink feline). Btw, I was also thinking about a third SSB game, and of course thinking about new characters that would be nice. Waluigi, Wario, Toad, and the “female yoshi” Birdo. Star Wolf members (Wolf O’Donnell, Leon, and Pigma), Peppy Hare. From DK series: Diddy Kong or Dixie (Lanky Kong would be really funny too!) and of course the villain King K. Rool. Banjo-Kazooie (a character with both, not separately), Gruntilda, and Mumbo Jumbo. Conker perhaps. Samurai Goroh and Black Shadow from F-Zero series. The blue dragon with wings from Metroid series that I don’t remember the name (I believe it starts with “K”, but it’s not Kray, he’s a trophy in SSBM). And Meta-Knight. I believe that’s a nice list. About the moves: they are the same but pretty different, because if you check it out, Nintendo made some characters with more “power” and others with more “agility”. Example: Ganondorf and Capt Falcon, or also Fox and Falco. I think the moves should stay like this, they are already nice, and players who like playing with those characters wouldn’t like having their main characters with different moves.
Oh yeah, the Skull Kid wearing the Majora’s Mask would be nice too! =P~~ But I think Nintendo should give him a name, I mean, calling him “Skull Kid” sucks xD~~ (Sorry for the double post ^^‘’)
I’ve been thinking about how the roster could evolve, especially with the Wii’s online capabilities. Imagine if they added online leaderboards for classic mode or even limited online multiplayer. For characters, I’d love to see Ridley from Metroid as a playable fighter—he’s been a trophy twice now. Also, what about Isaac from Golden Sun? His psynergy moves could make for a unique moveset. Do you think Nintendo will finally give Ganondorf his own sword moves, or keep him as a Falcon clone?
