Honestly, going to public school these days feels like being in jail. Every morning we go through metal detectors, and they’ve even banned cell phones entirely. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t call my parents after school to pick me up, and they keep forgetting to come get me. I’m stuck waiting around for who knows how long.
I’m thinking of having them write a note to the principal asking if I can bring my phone just for emergencies. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to handle it?
