Check Out Our New Original Track - Looking for Constructive Feedback

Hey everyone, we’ve been working on a new original track for a while now and would really love to get some honest feedback. It’s a blend of rock with some punk influences—think driving guitars and anthemic choruses. The lyrics deal with loss and finding strength, so it’s emotional but not overly sad.

We’re a small band still finding our sound, so any thoughts on the structure, instrumentation, or even the vibe would be super helpful.

I know reading lyrics doesn’t capture the full experience. We’re planning to record a proper demo soon, but in the meantime, if anyone wants to hear a rough snippet, I can upload it to SoundCloud. Just let me know!

Thanks for listening. :guitar:

That sounds promising! The rock-punk blend is a cool direction. I’d definitely suggest getting a demo recorded, even if it’s just a 30-second clip. When people read lyrics, everyone imagines a different melody and tempo, so a recording would really help us hear what you’re going for.

You could upload it to SoundCloud or YouTube (unlisted is fine) and share the link here. That way we can give more specific feedback on the mix, energy, and how the vocals sit.

Also, if you’re recording at home, I’ve had good results with a simple setup: an audio interface, SM58 mic, and Reaper for DAW. Not sure if you’re looking for production tips, but happy to share what I’ve learned. Keep it up!
