Hey everyone!
I’m looking to put together a remote team for web projects. The idea is to have a group of freelancers covering different roles:
- Designers (graphics, UI/UX)
- Developers (front-end, back-end, full-stack)
- Marketers (find clients, handle outreach)
- Analysts (break down project requirements)
How it would work
- Marketing finds a client and gets the project brief.
- Analyst (Web & Database Analyst) breaks down the requirements into tasks.
- Developers and Designers pick up tasks and complete them within a set deadline.
- Everyone collaborates using modern tools like Slack for communication, Trello or Notion for task management, and GitHub for code versioning.
What I’m looking for
- People who are serious and committed.
- No age restrictions, but you need to deliver on time.
- Profit-sharing based on contribution.
If you’re interested, drop a reply with your skills and experience. Let’s build something great together!
Cheers,
khmerneed

Topic Overview (Wikipedia):
A virtual team usually refers to a group of individuals who work together from different geographic locations and rely on communication technology such as email, instant messaging, and video or voice conferencing services in order to collaborate. The term can also refer to groups or teams that work together asynchronously or across organizational levels. Powell, Piccoli and Ives (2004) define virtual teams as “groups of geographically, organizationally and/or time dispersed workers brought together by information and telecommunication technologies to accomplish one or more organizational tasks.” As documented by Gibson (2020), virtual teams grew in importance and number during 2000-2020, particularly in light of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic which forced many workers to collaborate remotely with each other as they worked from home. — Read more on Wikipedia

Hey khmerneed, this sounds interesting!
I have a few questions before I consider joining:
- Profit split – How is the revenue shared? Is it equal per role, or based on hours worked?
- Commitment level – Is this a full-time thing or just when projects come in?
- Tools – You mentioned Slack and Trello – are you open to using something like Discord for voice chats or Linear for issue tracking?
- Skill assessment – How will you evaluate someone’s skills before assigning them to a role? Do you have a test project or portfolio review?
I’ve been working with modern stacks (React, Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL) and have some experience leading small teams. Would love to know more details!
Cheers,
Tina
