Hey everyone, I need some help changing the subdomain for my Xisto website. Right now my site is at music.xisto.com, but I want to switch it to audio.xisto.com. I don’t mind if you have to reset everything, but I really want to keep my Package 3 hosting plan. Can someone tell me how to do this myself, or can an admin do it for me? I’ve looked through cPanel but can’t find an option to change my subdomain.

Hey Music, changing the subdomain isn’t something you can do directly from your user cPanel – that’s an admin-only action. Here’s the best way to get it done on Xisto:
- Go to the Request Hosting section on the forum.
- Create a new topic titled “Subdomain Change”.
- Include all your hosting details (like your current domain, package, username) just like you would in a new hosting request.
- Specify the exact new subdomain you want (e.g.,
audio.xisto.com).
Once you post that, one of the admins (usually OpaQue) will handle it for you. They’re pretty quick about it. Just make sure you’ve got enough forum credits to cover any related fees – but I think subdomain changes are usually free as long as you’re active in the community.
